In Manish Malhotra

Kareena looked beautiful in her Manish Malhotra sari at the unveiling of her statue at Madame Tussauds. Speaking of which, the wax statue does no justice to the gorgeous actress, not in this picture anyway.

  1. they got the face cut right, but the nose is all wrong! plus the smile could have been wider! it’s a bit scary right now. poor bebo, still smiling through it!

    • Scary it is… Did they carve Kareena from Saif’s face ! The face looks kinda wide & manly !

But how gorgeous is the real kareena looking !

      • i like it strangely. I guess ppl. are judging her statue based on prim and proper Ms Rai. What so you associate with Bebo apart from her gorgeous complexion? Her Cheekbones ! It looks exactly like her – only I wish they had captured her full smile instead of just a halfway smile. Anyway no complaints from me – really shows her spirit as opposed to looking like a frozen statue.

        • I think the wax figure is the best compared to other Indians. Then again she is really fair..So its easier.. I dont think they do justice to brown skinned ppl

  2. Oh man, this statue does no justice to Kareena. It is technically correct with the features, but makes me think this is how KK will look 20-30 years down the line, not now. But she is looking beautiful and radiant in reality 🙂

  3. I was getting ready to see another blingy saree with a barely there bra blouse. But this totally blew me away! The saree is simple, elegant and the blouse is perfectly paired with the saree,

I also like this trend where you do not need the blouse to matc your saree exactly. It looks like you can collect a few essential blouses in basic colors and patterns and co-ordinate them with sarees.

  4. If i were one of these biggies, id totally decline to get my wax statue. they always end up looking wierd n stars look like fools posin with it.

  5. I love the saree. I think the trick to pulling off MM sarees is to go with the kind of blouse she’s wearing and not those bikini tops!

Also, after seeing the pics from all the events KK has been at for the past few days, I’m convinced that sarees are definitely the most flattering outfit on her!

  7. kareena looks amazing in the saree. the wax statue is horrible, mainly due to the fact that whites don’t know how to appreciate indian features and indian beauty and therefore they can’t create a nice face for us in a statue.

  8. awwww the real Kareena looks SO happy! I don’t think I’ve ever seen her look this happy in all the time I’ve been watching her. Love that face/smile. Happiness never goes out of style xx

  9. How beautiful is she! and it wouldn’t hurt you guys to praise Manish Malhotra for once because that sari is gorgeous and frankly one of the best I’ve seen on this site. Hats off to Kareena for carrying it so well with the right drape, jewellery etc.

  10. whoa the statue looks so manly! i guess its something to do with the smile, they shouldve gone for a big cheery smile like the real kareena..but how gorgeous does miss kapoor look! i love how shes transformed herself from the blond haired raccoon eyed version from a couple of years ago to this fresh faced beauty!

  11. Good to see Kareena wearing saree without the boob show. She is already very sexy. The forced skin show while wearing a saree only makes her look tacky. Love the blouse.

Have Indian women decided that they are not going to wear bindis from now on. A desi look (especially in a saree like this) always looks incomplete to me without a bindi.

Also, that statue is the stuff of nightmares.

  12. She got hole of a really good make-up artist in this UK trip… great make-up both on Ra-One prem. and this occasion… as far as the statue is concerned…. less said the better….

  13. I had been to Tussad’s many years ago. They do a terrible job with Indians! Mahatma Gandhi, Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, Amitabh Bachchan were all horribly done. The only good likeness was that of Narasimha Rao. I feel Indians should just refuse to model for them!

That aside, Kareena looks good (though MM sarees are not to my taste), as any living thing would next to THAT!
