While at an event promoting her upcoming movie, Yami was photographed wearing Bodice separates. Her accessories for the occasion included Deepa Gurnani earrings and Valentino sandals. I like the separates on her; she looked nice.

One of the two separates needed to fit more closely, to give the entire look some shape.
Boxy shirt & loose trousers don’t go for me, also makes the wearer look stumpy (however tall they may be).

Agreed. If one item is boxy the other item needs to be better fit to give it a nice finish.
She is definitely not petite but yes, it would have been better if one of the separate was fitted.
This was our dress code for my school uniform and even now, I can’t wear navy and white together without feeling I am a school girl again (which was a long long time ago;) That aside, I agree with the above commenter that one of the elements should have been a little more fitted; the outfit as it is appears to be overwhelming Yami.
