While most wear a piece from a new collection either the day of (like Frieda) or a day after (like Urvashi), these two ladies were spotted wearing pieces from Tarun’s Spring 2010 collection way before it was previewed on the runway.

About time we saw some new blood on the covers besides the usual fare (read The Kapoors and a certain Chopra) and Verve India makes us quite happy this month because for the Aug issue they’ve put Genelia on the cover. She dons a Tarun Tahiliani one shouldered gown with jewellery by Rose.

Pretty In Pink?

Genelia has only herself to blame for raising the bar so high at the Slumdog Millionaire premiere (see here), that nothing we’ve seen her in since has been quite up to that level let alone surpass it. At the IIFA Awards day one, she wore a pink draped dress by Tarun Tahiliani which she paired with red round-toed shoes and a purple Louis Vuitton Vernis clutch.

For us, her look was far from impressive, we didn’t like it one bit. How about you?
