Wearing a custom Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla sari, Sonam attended a ceremony felicitating last year’s kids that won the National Bravery Awards. You’ve probably already noticed that the sari has a twist in the sense that it had another pallu, one that went around the neck like a scarf.

Hair in an updo complete with a tube rose gajra, her sari look was finished out with Amrapali earrings and Apala By Sumit rings.

We don’t have better pics but from what we see here, she pulled off the tricky sari effortlessly.

For a recent round of movie promotions, Sonam picked a neoprene Dolly J dress. Given the detail at the neck, am surprised Sonam didn’t wear her hair back either in a ponytail or style it sleek and straight. Because between the fabric, color and draped detail of the dress, the hair weighed down an already heavy look. Besides, not a fan of the wax-like look that the fitted neoprene bodice/top-half of the dress gave off.

Wearing Payal Khandwala, Sonam attended the annual Police Umang show that took place in Mumbai on Tuesday evening. While I love those Apala earrings, they seemed a bit too heavy for the look. I would’ve preferred to see chunky silver studs here.

She looked good nevertheless.

Sonam attended the Filmfare Awards on Friday wearing her signature look, an Anamika Khanna lehenga and a statement piece of jewellery which in this case was an emerald necklace from Heeramaneck and Son.

Ms. Kapoor has pretty much nailed this look and while she did look good, we’d be remiss if we didn’t mention that the bronzer seemed a bit heavy handed here.

Sonam attended the Filmfare Pre-Awards party on Saturday evening wearing a velvet Michael Costello gown. If you’ve been following the Aishwarya Nair/Nishant Mathew wedding festivities, then you know that Ms. Kapoor wore this gown to one of the parties just two days ago.

Now, am not picking on the fact that she wore the gown so soon. Am just surprised that she chose to wore the gown styled the the same way as she had at the wedding party. Normal peeps like moi can be expected to do so but considering this is Ms. Kapoor who normally does two three changes in a day (which she did do today itself as well wearing an Anamika Khanna top to Bigg Boss), am just, like I mentioned already, surprised. 😛

Update: Now that we have the red carpet pics, here goes our review of the look. At first glance itself, we found the part-sheer sleeves rather distracting. The gown would’ve looked better if just the sheer plunging neckline was its main detail. Agree?
