Wearing a custom Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla sari, Sonam attended a ceremony felicitating last year’s kids that won the National Bravery Awards. You’ve probably already noticed that the sari has a twist in the sense that it had another pallu, one that went around the neck like a scarf.
Hair in an updo complete with a tube rose gajra, her sari look was finished out with Amrapali earrings and Apala By Sumit rings.
We don’t have better pics but from what we see here, she pulled off the tricky sari effortlessly.

The sari is pretty but I just don’t think there was a need for the scarf pallu. I think it would’ve looked much better without it.

She looks good. The second scarf/pallu was unnecessary and doesn’t really add anything to the look. The saree would look great without it. But she manages to pull it off.

The scarf-pallu is unnecessary but that aside I love the saree and the drape is perfeccttt. The look is missing a bindi though– would’ve elevated the look so much.

we just have to accept the fact that sonam doesn’t do simple . That should be the starting point for any sonam look .
So starting from that point , this is a graceful saree . Anyone else would have struggled with so much fabric but we are talking sonam kapoor who doesn’t do simple !

The outfit is intriguing and sonam looks really graceful. Just think that the gajra was not needed. Distracts from the overall look.

Gosh – Sonam’s fashion sense is literally – ‘too much’. Really tiresome.
That added pallu doesnt add ANYTHING to the overall look. But we cant expect her to go for anything simple or normal.
