The IWC Gala Dinner on day two of DIFF saw Ms. Kapoor wearing a strapless dress by Ralph & Russo with a silver clutch by the designer duo, silver pumps and diamond drop earrings. Picking up on the mint shade of the dress, the eyes were highlighted with a matching shade as well.

The makeup under the eyes didn’t seem to photograph well but overall she did look stunning.

It was a pearl theme for Ms. Kapoor on day two of DIFF morning where the actor was seeing in Mother of Pearl denim separates paired with pearl-embellished Fendi bag and sandals and lustworthy Isharya earrings.

She sure wore the boxy separates well but the eye-makeup was just too ashy/cakey.

Sonam attended the opening night of the Dubai International Film Festival wearing an ivory bustier gown with a matching long coat from Ashi Studio and Roger Vivier pumps.

While I loved those pumps, the whole head to toe white seemed a bit overkill but there is no denying she looked really good here. Even though it did give us a bit of a déjà vu.

For a recent round of travel, Sonam picked Rheson to wear. Black accessories that included an Hermès ‘Kelly’ bag rounded out the actor’s look.

It was gold for Ms. Kapoor at the Filmfare Glamour and Style Awards who wore a strapless gown from Dubai based label Atelier Zuhar. Going by their in-house professionally shot pictures, one immediately went Whoa!. Especially where the gown with its sudden flare gives an illusion of a very narrow waist.

But, now that I’ve seen the pictures at the actual event, my reaction is not quite the same. Sure, she wears the gown well, and pairing it with the headpiece was a good way of not making the look feel overkill but frankly, the look felt a bit too Dolce & Gabbana-esque and I wish she would go for more youthful looks at these awards events instead of the princess/voluminous skirt look she seems to favor quite a bit.
