Sonam attended the HT Most Stylish Awards wearing a dress by Paris based label, Hyun Mi Nielsen. By now, we’ve come to expect Ms. Kapoor to always deliver something OTT especially when it comes to such high-profile events and she definitely did that.

But, except for the color and the Aquazzura sandals, I really didn’t like the dress. Oddly, it wasn’t that sleeve that did it for me. The deal breaker for me were those darts creating a conical bust. An homage to 90s it may have been but that doesn’t mean I have to like it. Also, I didn’t think the diamond jewellery worked with the color. Maybe something in gold would’ve worked better.

Latest round of movie promotions had Sonam in a Rimzim Dadu suit. Aside from the earrings and assorted rings, the actor rounded out her look with an Amrapali clutch and pair of Jimmy Choo pumps.

I would imagine the corded bodice wouldn’t work on most women, on most reasonably well endowed women in any case. That said, while we wouldn’t reach for it ourselves, Sonam sure made it work for her. She looked good.

As she was exiting Mumbai airport recently, Sonam was photographed in a vintage Norma Kamali dress. An oxblood belt to cinch in the waist and a pair of suede boots were her accessories of choice. Aside from her roomy Birkin and a Louis Vuitton carry-on that rounded out her travel look of course. A look right up her alley; she made it work!

Sonam threw us quite the curve ball with her outfit choice for the 2018 Filmfare Awards. Normally, we wait to see proper pictures from the event itself before we pass our verdict but, this time didn’t quite need to. We knew how we felt and nothing was going to change it.

In her effort to do something different from the rest (read: end up in a statement princess-ey ball gown) and wearing this look from the Fall 2017 Vera Wang collection, we think Ms. Kapoor went a bit too far this time. While her top half seemed headed to an Awards show, the bottom half felt like it was headed to the 10pm spin class!

I can take an offbeat look every now and then, but those pants just looked plain ridiculous. I think you get the gist that we hated this look on her.

Is Ms. Kapoor in a tonal phase? It would definitely seem so considering this is the third time we’ve seen her do tonal in recent weeks. For promotions of Pad Man in London, we saw her do red in separates from Kojak Studio paired with a red bag from Thale Blanc.

It sure was striking but is it just me that’s finding the blush a wee bit heavy handed?
