While at a Diwali party last evening, Sara was photographed in a cheery yellow bandhani sari by Manish Malhotra. Matching accessories that included pink potli and jootis rounded out her look. I wish she hadn’t skipped on wearing earrings because despite the glass bangles, the look felt a touch bare. But the fact that she chose a non-fussy but just as festive a sari to wear sure earned her back some of those points! She looked lovely.

Sara attended the GQ Men Of The Year Awards wearing a black dress by Monisha Jaising with black Louboutin pumps. Given the exaggerated sleeves, I think Ms. Khan tried to keep everything simple to balance out the look but in this case it didn’t work. The sleeves were just too overwhelming on her and a different hairdo or interesting footwear would’ve salvaged it.
