In Monisha Jaising

Sara attended the GQ Men Of The Year Awards wearing a black dress by Monisha Jaising with black Louboutin pumps. Given the exaggerated sleeves, I think Ms. Khan tried to keep everything simple to balance out the look but in this case it didn’t work. The sleeves were just too overwhelming on her and a different hairdo or interesting footwear would’ve salvaged it.

  1. The black isn’t working for her – she’s too young for so much black. Also, neither her hair colour nor her skin tone works with it. This outfit in any other colour would have been just fine.

Like a superior power.Babies, women, small children everyone ties them. No big deal. A small tiny thread need not make or break ones red carpet look!!

  2. The dress is ridiculous. I have a genuine question, how does one sit in such short dresses. I wear knee length skirts & those ride up 4 inches when I sit.

  3. After seeing Sara frequently in kurtis, it’s difficult to imagine she can carry off gowns/red carpet looks as effortlessly. There’s no denying she looks great in any of it tho

    • She’s probably handed off all her clothes to Kareena…since she’s the one wearing Sara’s typical style now. Sara still has to figure out her western look.

  4. NO NO NO…Not working. And seriously what’s going on with the poses? Sara is yet to find her ground when it comes to western wear…she should stick to safe rather than going the edgy, high fashion route.

  5. Just replace the heels with peep-toes…would look a lot less stuffy.

And the hairdo to balance the sleeves should have been a slick ponytail. Way more age-appropriate.

Why is her stylist adamant to make her look like an 80’s Hollywood wannabe??

  6. Stars should know what suits them, understand your physique but more so understand your personality. My mantra is always comfort first and combine it with elegance. You will never go wrong. This wasn’t a dress for her.
