At the audio launch of her next movie, Samantha went the sari route opting for a Koëcsh one featuring a beaded cape. Given that the latter was the highlight of the look, it helped to keep the rest of the look simple.

I can’t say am a fan of the cape look but Samantha is selling it to me here. She looked good.

Our one minor gripe would be the heavy platform pumps.

Wearing a Ted Baker dress with flared hem, Samantha attended a press meet for her upcoming movie. A fishtail braid, ear-cuff and Alexander McQueen pumps finished out the look. The hair made for a refreshing change; she looked great!

P.S: The dress needed a little tug to clear out the creases… Don’t quite think it was a fit issue.

In Burberry Prorsum

Wearing a Burberry Prorsum lace sheath with an embellished waist detail, Samantha attended a recent event. With her hair set in loose curls, she finished out the look with a neutral pair of pumps.

The dress works well on her; Samantha looked good! That said though, having kept her make-up nude, would’ve preferred to see sleeker hair and a pair of more striking pumps/sandals to really play off of the dress.

Wearing a pale gold Ritika Mirchandani lehenga and some stunning ruby and gold jewelry, Samantha attended a jewelry store launch in Madras. Given the event, the outfit made for a great canvas to showcase the jewelry. She looked lovely!

The South Filmfare Awards took place tonight in Chennai with the who’s who of the South film industry in attendance.

Samantha attended the event wearing a strapless Gauri and Nainika gown featuring floor-length side peplums. In itself that gown could’ve felt overwhelming but in opting for an updo and simple jewelry ( from Jet Gems), the look gets balanced out.

From what we see, Samantha looked lovely.
