It’s been a while since we’ve seen Ms. Matondkar on these pages. The former-actor made an appearance at the Marathi Filmfare awards wearing a Manish Malhotra gown from the designer’s most recent couture collection.

Given the boat-neck neckline, she should’ve skipped on the necklace but other than that she looked nice.

Not only did Aishwarya pick Manish Malhotra for Diwali parties this year, she also sported an ornate anarkali at daughter Aaradhya’s birthday bash. It did seem a tad excessive but something tells us she wanted to match the princess theme of the party.

Sophie picked an orange Manish Malhotra lehenga for a recent Diwali soirée. Wearing her hair up, she finished out her look with a diamond matha-patti from Anmol Jewellers.

Given that she skipped all other jewelry to let the matha-patti have its moment, wish she had picked a softer updo. As is, the effect was rather stark. That minor gripe aside, she made the look work; love the color on her.

Parineeti attended Diwali parties on Wednesday evening wearing a Manish Malhotra lehenga that consisted of a loose fit gold blouse and a voluminous maroon skirt. Giving the separates a bit of a contrast was her turquoise jewellery.

I didn’t think the jewellery worked here but she looked nice nevertheless. The lehenga just felt fuss-free and comfortable.
