At the HT Most Stylish Awards, Kriti was a picture of sunshine in her fringe Deme gown that was paired with hoops and stacked bracelets from Valliyan. I especially loved the turquoise nail paint.

Having said that though, just when I was about to give the label credit for something nice, turns out, the gown itself seemed to be very inspired by the winner of Project RunwaySean Kelly‘s design which was worn by Heidi back in 2014. Le sigh.

At Virat and Anushka’s wedding reception, Kriti was photographed in a Manish Malhotra sari. A sleek updo and jewelry from Jaipur Gems complemented the look well. She looked nice!

For an interview with Rajeev Masand, Kriti sported a cobalt blue Mossman dress with ankle-strap sandals. Kriti, being her, wears a lot of her stuff well, but somehow this look fell flat for me. Between the hair style and the same ole ankle-strap sandals, this look wasn’t very exciting. It needed a fun hairdo and definitely more interesting pumps to play off of that pattern on the dress.

At the Kids Choice Awards, Kriti was photographed wearing Gauri and Nainika. An updo in place, the actor rounded out the look with Bblingg by Meghana tassel earrings.

Nothing to fault here; she looked nice. That said, this would have been the perfect occasion to take some chances, to wear something more fun, less serious.
