At a series launch not too long ago, Kriti kept things casual in her bodysuit and low-rise velvet (?) pants. Can’t say I was a fan of the look. Surely Ms. Sanon could do better than the separates she had on? And she did. At Shantanu and Nikhil’s store launch, Kriti lent her support by wearing a gown by the designer duo. Sleek hair, dramatic smokey eyes and diamond jewelry rounded out the look well.

Yes these are two very different looks, one very casual and the other very dressed-up. But it was still easy to pick a favorite!

For her two recent outings, Kriti picked a black ruffle-detailed dress by Aak:Ch one time, and a white Kika Vargas dress on another. Of the two, my vote goes to the look in Vargas, it just was the more interesting one, to me anyway!

Back to back award events saw Ms. Sanon in sparkly outfits, first in a white sari from Seema Gujral and then in a structured top and skirt from Gaurav Gupta. Between the two, preferred her in the black here. The sari even with all its glitter just seemed so lacklustre.

Also to add, the black may be the better outing here but it lacked punch. The pumps just felt oh-so-boring here. I feel like this is a look that could’ve used more edgy accessories. Ms. Sanon tends to be more safe in her fashion choices and I really would love to see her take some risks every now and then. One finds out what went wrong and you learn from it and do better the next time.
