It was all about a bygone time for both Mare Claire and Hi Blitz covers… With Marie Claire it was the fierce woman of the eighties with strong lips, strong color and big hair. For Hi Blitz, it was a more subdued, softer, princessy Kareena from a time gone by… We love her in both the avatars but for now are in lust with that necklace. Which avatar do you prefer?

Kareena and Saif made an appearance at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit over the weekend with Kareena wearing an ombre Manish Malhotra sari. It sure is a look done to death by her and I think it is about time, she either get a new hairstyle for the sari looks or ditch these style of saris (although this one was quite muted than some of the other MM creations we’ve seen on her).

Changing It Up

After a string of Cavallis, Dolces and what have you, this sure is a change.

It’s not everyday that we see Ms. Kapoor dressed down (relatively in this case anyway), so to see her don a kurta paired with denims was refreshing. If we changed anything, it’d be the shoes but got to say, the kurta looks great on her.

While we liked Kareena’s fitted version of this Roberto Cavalli print better than Simone’s, can’t believe that an otherwise ok dresser like Simone committed a basic fashion infraction, wearing pantyhose with open-toe shoes.

Coming back to the dress, which version do you prefer? Kareena’s or Simone’s?

Red Hot! Or Not.

At the final night of HDIL Couture Week, Ms. Kapoor attended Karan Johar’s show wearing a red sequin dress that she paired with silver YSL Tribute sandals. Minus the excessive cheek-sucking in, we thought she looked quite hot. What say you?

On an aside, Ms. Kapoor seems to love those Tribute heels, this is her third pair.
