Janhvi attended the Lions Gold Awards on Thursday evening wearing an instantly recognizable Anamika Khanna. At first glance itself, the outfit felt a incomplete and my hunch was confirmed after referring to the runway image.

I much prefer the original version and wish she’d worn the black halter top as well. Without it, the whole crop top minus cape/dupatta felt too formulaic.

For Janhvi, it was a sequin Prabal Gurung dress paired with ankle-strap sandals and a box clutch. The wavy do and kohl-rimmed eyes made for a nice change.

She looked good.

For a recent appearance of hers, Janhvi suited up in Stella McCartney. Wearing her hair down, she rounded out the look with a pair of Christian Louboutin pumps. I wish she had opted for a different lip color to play off against the blue better but it wasn’t a deal-breaker; the sharply tailored separates worked well on the actor.

Both Sara and Janhvi showed off their stems in animal-print recently. While Sara paired her romper with Louboutins, Janhvi teamed the mini with chunky boots, and both ladies rounded out their looks with gold-toned hoops.

Janhvi was seen at the Priyanka and Nick wedding reception wearing a lehenga by Manish Malhotra. I don’t mind the skirt but was not a fan of the beaded top. The two together was just too much for the senses and Janhvi didn’t quite pull it off as is. She looked a lot like a kid playing dress up.
