Janhvi was seen at the Priyanka and Nick wedding reception wearing a lehenga by Manish Malhotra. I don’t mind the skirt but was not a fan of the beaded top. The two together was just too much for the senses and Janhvi didn’t quite pull it off as is. She looked a lot like a kid playing dress up.

For Janhvi, it was a Faraz Manan sleeveless kurta and pants at the Lokmat Most Stylish Awards. Even with its intricate threadwork, somehow the beige and white outfit didn’t look luxurious and the color scheme just looked meh on her.

For a recent appearance of hers, Janhvi picked a Reem Acra dress to wear. With her hair partially pinned back, she rounded out the look with a choker and sparkly sandals.
Though the quality of pictures might have something to do with it, it was the styling that kept the overall look from being as impactful as it should have been. Wish the layered choker had been done away with; that combined with the hair seems a little too prom-ey. Skipping necklace and wearing her hair down in voluminous soft waves might have just done the trick!

Opting for lehengas at the Vijan-Tanwar reception were Kriti and Janhvi with the former wearing an emerald green Zara Umrigar and the latter, a silver and white one by Falguni and Shane Peacock.
Even with all the lehenga fatigue, I quite liked Kriti’s pic. The jewellery and sleek hairdo though, not so much.

It was an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla lehenga for Janhvi while at the big fat Indian wedding in Mumbai. It’s not a lehenga we’d gravitate to but it was one that worked for this young actor. That said though, this one dimensional Bollywood-ized idea of glam is hard to get excited about after a point, so excuse us while we go meh!
