For their respective appearances, both Bhumi and Disha picked corseted dresses. While the former rounded out her look with diamond jewelry and embellished pumps from Dune, the latter kept her accessories understated and rounded out the look with a pair of classic ankle-strap sandals.

Bhumi attended an event on Friday evening wearing a one-shouldered midi dress by Gauri and Nainika. The length of the dress wasn’t really flattering here and wish she’d done a top knot instead of wearing her hair side-parted. As is, not impressed. Were you?

She was seen in a JJ Valaya sari for another event which was a much better appearance. Catch it inside.

Of Promotions

Bhumi had a very busy Friday with promotions of her movie. The day saw her start with a Saiko Studio blue corset paired with white distressed denims, then in an embroidered sari by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla and finally at night in another blue top, this time one by Aniket Satam paired with another pair of distressed denims.

I am not sure what the significance of the blue tops is, someone hopefully can tell me, but of the three outfits, it was easy to pick the sari as the best appearance of all. As for the corset tops, not that they were a favorite, it’s just that the denim pairings here weren’t working.

For the wedding held over the weekend, Bhumi picked a Manish Malhotra lehenga to wear. I love the idea of color but between those neon accent colors, the geometric pattern and all that sparkle, it was a touch too flashy for me. Bhumi could’ve done better!

Bhumi was seen in a Tamanna Punjabi Kapoor lehenga at the Ranjan-Sangeet wedding paired with chaandbali earrings. I liked the skirt, the bandeau style top, not so much.
