Wearing a metallic sari made from recycled nylon and faux leather, Alia attended the ITA awards on Sunday evening. Silver jhumkis finished out her look. Metallic leather material normally neither falls well nor photographs well but that wasn’t the case here. It all came together nicely.

Madhuri continued promotions for her upcoming series wearing in a Tarun Tahiliani anarkali and a Safiyaa dress. Between the two, much preferred the anarkali. Didn’t care for those shoulder details of the dress and also given the length of the dress which in itself was two inches too long, those sandals were the wrong pick.

Keeping up with her theme of wearing white in-line with her character, Alia sported white at the Berlin Film Festival as well. For the photo-call, it was a suit by Nobi Talai and the premiere saw her in a sari by Rimple and Harpreet.
The white looks were striking but can’t say I liked the sari itself. It’s not my taste. As for the suit, and this is a minor gripe, the puckering at the lapels was a bit of a distraction. I also didn’t care for the big earrings.

Promotions for her upcoming movie have seen Ms. Bhatt sport white, a color that her character wears in the movie. While it’s been mostly saris, she was also spotted wearing suits at two events.
Her sari outings have been quite similar with silver jhumkis and a black bindi being staple in most. Loved her in all except the Manish Malhotra. Wasn’t a fan of that busy blouse. Did you have a favorite?
