In Nadine Merabi
For the screening of her latest series, Madhuri picked a Nadine Merabi dress to wear. Her accessories for the evening included jewelry by Mahesh Notandass. The actor looked nice.

Either the upper end or the lower end should have had fur, not both. It becomes costumey then.
Nonetheless, she looks lovely and graceful. Her soft glow makeup is perfection.
You either have it or you don’t! She doesn’t have that ‘thing’ (not getting the right word to express) to carry western wear.
But do western women “carry” it. I don’t see this looking good on anyone. If a very pretty woman wears it well we might say she is carrying it but doesn’t change the fact that a lot of western wear is fugly.
Agree, cant pin point like you say. Its the body language or the discomfort that comes through I think which makes it the square peg round hole. In this sighting I was reminded of Kiran Juneja and that is not a good connection at all :(…
She doesn’t have “it” with Indian outfits either. Her lehengas can be awful and repetitive, and saris can be costumey and gaudy too.. She manages saris because saris just have an inherent quality and are hard to go wrong with for anyone (cue Vidya Balan), and she seems comfortable in them. The “it” is just a bad overall sense of styling and sense of what’s good for her. Whenever that’s an issue for anyone, I’d say go with a sari.
Looked nice?? That’s a real bad outfit on her given her figure. Someone more flat chested might have been able to carry it off.
I agree. She’s well endowed and the heaviness the fur adds to the chest area just kills it and the length of the dress ( to the ankles) with the fur does not help with a graceful silhouette. A full length black gown with no fur would be so much more elegant.
Wow! She looks gorgeous!
Proportions are seriously off at the ankle fur. She appears so short and weird knee down.
This hair suits her well
The dress is good in theory but the proportions are off. Only one of the bottom/top should have been fur lined. Add to that some length cutting ankle strap sandals, and this look gets a thumbs down!!
HA, such a lot of black on the page, and it’s all so pakaao.
The fur at the bust was unnecessary. But honestly, I am glad that she’s switching things up a little.
I’d take this over the blingy lehengas and net sarees she usually favors. The hair, the hair makes all the difference.
The dress didn’t need those fur trims. I generally hate any kind of puff, poof, fur, feathers and tassels on my clothes. So maybe it’s just me.
P&P, if possible, please do cover her looks in Fame Game. She looks gorgeous in the series – long jackets, simple dresses, white soothing floral salwar suits, some good sarees, white and gold lehenga. I even bought a Chanderi white floral salwar online after seeing her in the series. Hadn’t bought a salwar suit in ages. It would be nice to see those looks featured here.
The dress is making her look square & not in a good way . Something simpler, less fussy would have looked nicer
I love Madhuri and think she is timeless…but this look is an epic fail. Her body proportions are not aligned to those of the outfit and she looks frumpy and flat here. She is a gorgeous woman and should wear clothes that give the illusion of length and a slender profile.
Sorry Madhuri…this is not your cup of tea!
Its so 1920s flapper vibes. Not a good choice. Though she still looks beautiful!
