In Summer Away

Alia attended the Kapoor Christmas lunch back in a Summer Away dress paired with black sandals. The dress can be worn two ways and interestingly bears quite a resemblance to the below Self-Portrait mini dress.

In a day and age where there is Google Lens, designers should be a wee bit more careful when they borrow design ideas from other labels.

In Twos

Alia spent Christmas with her family wearing a red scarf dress from 431-88 by Shweta Kapur. What was interesting to me was the fact that Summer Away has an exact similar dress just minus the keyhole at the waist but am guessing because she wore the label to another Christmas party (where she seemed to be styled by Rhea), her other stylist Priyanka Kapadia put her in a different label for the family Christmas soiree.

In Anamika Khanna

Alia attended an awards event wearing an Anamika Khanna cape and skirt set on Wednesday evening. Alas, the cape just ended up looking overwhelming on her and that stark white blouse seemed jarring against the creamish gold cape. Didn’t like this one bit. Did you?

In Hervé Léger

Been a while since we had a Hervé Léger sighting on these pages. Giving us one was Alia wearing a vintage halter gown from the label that made bandage dresses famous. Her look was finished out with a messy updo and a diamond choker necklace. The gown is nice on her but I think in this case, she should’ve worn studs and kept the neck bare.

In Elie Saab Couture

Alia attended a gala dinner at the ongoing Red Sea International Film Festival wearing a strapless floral painted gown from Elie Saab‘s Autumn/Winter 2025/2026 collection. Am glad she skipped on the pink shrug here. This was a simple and striking look and she looked good in it.

P.S. Yes she was styled by Rhea Kapoor and I think we can agree this one was a winner.
