Wearing a custom Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla sari, Sonam attended a ceremony felicitating last year’s kids that won the National Bravery Awards. You’ve probably already noticed that the sari has a twist in the sense that it had another pallu, one that went around the neck like a scarf.

Hair in an updo complete with a tube rose gajra, her sari look was finished out with Amrapali earrings and Apala By Sumit rings.

We don’t have better pics but from what we see here, she pulled off the tricky sari effortlessly.

At the Umang Police Show, Tabu was seen in a black anarkali from Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla and am sure like me you are surprised at the pick just because it was more on the subtle side. Relatively speaking.

We rarely see her do a bold lip and so it was really nice to see her in one here. I just wish she’d picked simple non-sparkly black jootis to go with the anarkali

Madhuri went the sari route at the Filmfare Awards wearing a white one by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. At first glance itself, I wasn’t a fan and I place blame on the blouse. I think with a simpler blouse, her look wouldn’t have felt as costumey as it did.

I also wish the hairdo was a bit neater.

Jacqueline also opted for an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla look at the Star Screen Awards wearing a pleated ruffle sari to the event paired with a cross-neck blouse.

Going by the pics, the frilly sari seemed to get the better of her and the actor couldn’t quite seem to figure out how best to carry off the pallu and the sari itself as a whole. I also wasn’t a fan of the blouse. A traditional blouse may have balanced out the look just a bit.

Deepika attended the Star Screen Awards wearing a bustier top and ruffle skirt, both from Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. Sporting the separates with a severe top knot, she finished out her look a pair of silver Zanotti sandals and teardrop earrings.

At first glance, especially in some pics, the tan coupled with the frilly skirt felt a bit much. And in most cases, I normally soften up once I keep looking. Not so in this quite case. While I warmed up to the tan, couldn’t quite bring myself to like the outfit as a whole. I think this look fit right in in an editorial. Not so much in real life.
