Wedding Diaries
Sussanne picked a far simpler lehenga (compared to others) for the wedding festivities. Whether you like the outfit or not, you’ve got to admit, just by passing on sequins/gota/whathaveyou she stood out. All that aside, she did look nice.

Nice!
Thats probably the best shade of crimson I have seen in like… ever…
100 points to Suzanne for not wearing a bra blouse.
She looks just amazing! ngl
Color suits her.. she looks so beautiful and delicate. I really don’t mind this lehenga.. it’s just right.
At first glance, I thought it looked quite old fashioned. But upon closer inspection I like it. It’s nice and simple and I like the pattern on the blouse.
Love it. It has a 90s vibe.
Pretty and appropriate even though who decides what is appropriate.
Oh, i quite like that, especially the top. Wish there were better pictures.
Looks like one of those Diwali sale piece you find at some Indian store in Artesia. Coz that outfit is from 2005 and no one wants to wear it.
I’ll give a thumbs-up to this only because she is not wearing a bra/bralet as a choli 🙂
It is a gorgeous colour and a pretty lehenga. She looks very good in it
Remind me of fashion around 2008-09.
The silhoutte reminds me of Ethnic wear from 2007-2009.

wow, p&p made some saucy comments back then! what a 180 degree to the ‘made it work’ and all the mellow comments we get to witness these days.
I agree!! Lol
Yeah but I prefer how they word their comments now. Some stuff from the old days was shockingly in bad taste.
Its barely similar to what you’ve posted..
You certainly don’t expect me to find an exact copy, do you?
Its just lehenga/ ghagra.. pretty much a flared skirt if you like..
And the are not new ( read traditional) and very generic & common.
Some newer styles (not all) have narrower flares but Suzanne’s is not like that.
To go and pick some red random ghaghra and red dresses & say it looks like that and then say well it’s not exactly like that.. I dont know what’s your point really..
Where have I written that it’s ‘exactly’ like that? I wrote that it reminds me of fashion from that era.
Also, lets not go back and forth now on something as trivial as this.
The Color of the lehenga was not the point. The silhouette was.
This silhoutte has been worn by young girls in South India for decades.
Silhouette*
Yes, you are right.
I think that I should have been more specific. I haven’t seen Bollywood junta wear this style of Choli and lehenga (long skirt) in a while.
She definitely dug it out from her closet , was sitting there for many years lol. At least some jewelry would have salvaged the look but it looks super dated
How come there are no pictures of the bride and groom and its just the usual lot.
Love it only bcoz she is not wearing a Fruit of the loom blouse
Fruit of the Loom “blouse” – there, fixed it for you! 🙂
She looks just right and event appropriate. Totally heart this look. Wish she wore simple jewellary to compliment, but that’s just a thought
Just by wearing a proper Choli, she has my 10/10
Don’t like the lehenga at all. Very very dated. even the neckline.
