In Manish Malhotra

For the wedding held over the weekend, Bhumi picked a Manish Malhotra lehenga to wear. I love the idea of color but between those neon accent colors, the geometric pattern and all that sparkle, it was a touch too flashy for me. Bhumi could’ve done better!

  1. Bhumi always looks like she is holding her breath and sucking in her tummy. Let go! Relax! Breathe in, breathe out. Smile so that your eyes sparkly. That in itself will make you look atleast 5 notch prettier.

  2. My eyes hurt.. Its not even a nice yellow.
Lehnga looks tacky. The colour ,the shimmer and the design.. everything.
Bollywood should understand that its alright not to wear OTT blingy MM uniforms.

  3. Too desperate to fit in, both in ‘trend’ and in the dress. Just look at the fitting (ill one) on busy. Just wondering how is she even breathing comfortably!

  4. Saw the video of this, it was so bad. Looked like the blouse would snap any moment. Plus the body makeup is a yuck trend. Bhumi is so pretty with her Indian features, but never comes across with the sad taste in clothing

  5. OMG !! Do these guys not see themselves in the mirror before leaving their house? Or free stuff makes them blind? To call this fashion is just outrageous.
I for one is tired of these lehengas taking over weddings. Wishing for those days when different kinds of saris weaves were worn for weddings. It’s all a bling bling affair where it’s difficult to figure out a bride from the guests. Sigh sigh ?

    • They dont, they are too needy and desperate to be “seen” kapre fit nahi ho parwah nahi, kapron ka color bakwas ho, style bakwas ho, fitting 10 size chhoti ho, parwah nahi, they HAVE TO BE SEEN 🙂
This is a 10/10 on the ugly scale!
They saved on fabric on the bra blouse by cutting it out further
      10/10 for that

Where will they chop fabric next?

  6. Is this blouse a trend? someone please enlighten me. I thought she last minute was given a size 3 times smaller than what would fit her. If its a trend, its a bad one- it looks very very bad so to hell with such trends.

  7. Only manish malhotra could’ve come up with this monstrous lehenga. That choli literally looks like yellow ribbon tape . And bhumi …. Breathe darling

  8. Everyone looks the same..at this point I don’t even know what else one could wear to a wedding other than this ‘uniform’ 🙁
Could someone point me to outfits that look different and stylish?!!

  9. It’s actually a pretty lehenga but perhaps better suited for a day function like haldi or mehendi. The flash photography in low light is making it look gaudier than it is. I would like to see how it looks in better lighting. The blouse too seems like a size or two too small which doesn’t do her any faavours. But I like the make-up and styling.

  10. That outfit is so blingy and even worse is the blouse! Agree with the other comments on whether it was a last minute choice..you know you are going to be photographed, wear something that makes your feel and look comfortable instead of permanently holding your breath in most outfits..she’s a pretty gal and looks lovely in traditional wear, this however was a complete miss!

  11. Oh my Eyes! We should sue them for blinding us. How do they agree to wear such hideous clothes? No wonder she never smiles in her pictures. She probably was forced to wear them. Hence the forced expressions and stomach sucked in.
