In Namza Couture
Day three festivities saw Sonam wearing a decadent traditional Ladakhi attire consisting of a mogo (the kurta) and a bok (the shawl) from Namza Couture. Love the vibrant and rich hues of the outfit. My only gripe is that necklace. It was too big and distracted from the outfit. I think the issue with Sonam’s recent looks has been her need to pile on jewels and sometimes it is unnecessary.

She finally nails the look…imagine if there was a kundan long layered set… that would have really stood out !!
Your issue with Sonam is that you subconsciously don’t like her so you will always find fault with her. She looks 10/10 here.
P&P have always been Sonam’s fan. (Me too)
You seem to be newbie on the blog. 🙂
Finally a phenomenal look. Something different and not the usual cookie cutter.
For me, this was the look of the jamboree. Don’t have an issue with the neckpiece, Sonam’s a big girl and she can carry off the maximalism very well.
I think it’s a fabulous outfit
Sonam does look stand-out stellar in this! The simple hair and makeup ties this look together, and I love it!
I agree. “Less is more” in this case, but we are talking Sonam, going maximalist is her thing…
Thank you for the details about the outfit – I wish the pictures were taken with better lighting to showcase the workmanship…
How beautiful she is, my god!
This is gorgeous. Finally a look to write home about.
My favourite look of the event. Beautiful colors, different than the usual. Love the juttis and the Payal.
OMG absolutely stunning!
loved it.
Hilarious that you hype all these tacky looking actresses with bad surgery and run of the mill looks with obvious fit issues but you hate the only reliably fashionable actress. Checks out for you
Thank you Payal for explaining the outfit. Otherwise I would have considered it another beautiful kurta set!!! Also let’s be happy she chose to play up the colours. As it is I am hardly seeing any rani pinks or thotha greens anymore on the streets of India!!!
This is nice. The opulence and beauty of being draped in Indian traditions!
I like the Bok, the kurta pales in comparison. The jewelry seems like it was photo imposed for a jewelry ad.
Props for wearing something unusual as I’ve never heard of these , but ehy wear these large necklaces ? Earrings would be sufficient considering the neck looks like a mock turtleneck .
I agree, it would have been nice to showcase that beautiful and traditional neckline. Instead she has covered it up. But regardless, she looks stunning!
I love the necklace. Going by her IG caption, its from aunt, mom and mom-in law so it definitely has sentimental value to it. I loved that rather than just pulling from designers. Love the whole look and totally different from all the OTT look from the weekend
Love love love the outfit – need to get my hands on one of their pieces
Love the way the Shawl has been drape – beautiful mix of hard and soft lines.
Absolutely love her in this beautiful outfit! Makes me want to visit Leh and experience their rich heritage.
I am the only one here i guess who doesn’t like her look even a bit.
If not now, then when?
Event appropriate….especially suited the ambani event. Attire n jewellery!
The best look in indian wear in a while. The necklace goes perfectly with it. What a piece I’m sure it must be heirloom.
A maximalist look that actually works. I love it, esp the jewelry! Minimal is not the aesthetic I associate with a big fat Indian wedding.
