Agreed. The saree is a beautiful color and suits Karisma. It’s the blouse that didn’t work.

Looks too khakhi to me. And the earrings make her ears stick out in a funny way, which is important because people should see how it works on themselves before blindly going in for the stylist or designers mandate

Lovely saree however why does all the actresses wear long sleeved blouses with sabya sarees? Wouldn’t this saree come with a matching blouse with the same border on the blouse ? I feel all blouses are switched for plain blouses by the Bollywood ladies

i’ve been ranting here about the samey color palette but i’ll take a pause with karisma. she brings a je n’ais sais quois to this outfit — fantastic! so much better than her other appearance with the headband.
Same old stuff churned out by Sabya for over a decade now – long sleevedblouse, chunky choker-necklace, tight pulled back hair with middle parting. It’s not even classic, just boring.
The only thing nice is the colour & of course Karisma’s grace.
It’s a lovely sari but the colour doesn’t suit her.
The colour and the overall styling is aging her
Not a fan of this range of sarees he had with a border nd plain blouse with high neck and full sleeves. KK carries it well but the saree itself lets her down.
Another Kanjeevaram turned into a ‘Sabyasachi’.
It’s still good though – rich and lux without looking OTT.
But clearly – this looks like Sabya styled her and the sari came with instructions on what the look should be, right down to the hair .
