Wearing an Abhishek Sharma gown, Sobhita attended the screening of MIH season 2 on Tuesday evening. The earrings here seemed quite necessary given that neckline. Wish she had skipped them. She worked the heck outta the gown though.

It’s an ugly gown. I also am not sure how she worked the heck outta the gown. She’s standing stiffly and looks uncomfortable. She doesn’t have the chutzpah or confidence needed to work the heck outta the gown.

It’s the constant ask for women to smile and make everyone else comfortable. Models and actors don’t smile in pictures. Look at all red carpets. Her choice! And smart one.
Absolutely, asking people to smile – especially women, You wont read it anywhere men being asked to smile.

The dress is Mermaid meets Venom! It’s unpleasant ar best.. but the fit is good…. It wouldn’t have mattered if Shobhita had worn a dazzling smile but alas….
That black detailing is giving such tarantula feels…I am not sure even Sobhita feels she’s working the gown in any which way

I actually like this outfit, including seaweed, earrings et al. Shobhita looks like a mermaid, in a good way. 🙂

I don’t like this gown or the styling but what on earth are personal comments like she has no style, she should smile etc.
On some days she has style on some days she doesnt just like most of us (and please just having a stylist doesn’t mean you don’t have off days or don’t wear stuff that your work demands). And better a poker face than the fake smiles that celebs are trained to flash.
Terrible gown. And no she isn’t working the hell out of it. Phew.
No- this gown is just ugly. The washed out colour contrasted with that black is just not doing it for me. Sobhita does looks great- because she is a stunner- but this outfit is not it.
Also agree with Jess on these weird people saying she’s not smiling. For all you know she probably was smiling for some photos but those are not featured here, and even if she wasn’t; demanding she plaster on a big smile is such a boomer sexist thing to say.
lol no. I’m not a boomer, I’m on the other end of the spectrum, a Gen Z’er.
I wouldn’t call a boomer weird though – that’s not my generation’s style.
That said, she and her team are selling her abilities as a fashionista to us which means there is an expectation to ummm…”work the heck outta the gown”.
If she can’t, she can’t. Saying it as we see it.
She doesn’t have to plaster on a big smile but her modus operandi of a dour expression isn’t cutting it.
