While at a recent event Awards event, Sobhita was photographed in an Anamika Khanna outfit. Big hair and Jimmy Choo sandals rounded out the actor’s look. Ordinarily, whatever she is selling, I am buying. Unfortunately, this look was an exception. Whatever vision she and the stylist had with this look, it just didn’t translate on the red carpet. A rare miss from her!

Sobhita usually owns her looks which makes for a distinct style statement. However, this and the previous black outfit feel like borrowed looks for some reason. Feels like a Deepika-inspired look.
I don’t hate it but it’s not as impactful as instagram pictures suggested.Her insta baddie makeup and pose looks dead-like on the red carpet. Those black pumps, which are stunning, do not belong to this AK piece. Would have also preferred a sleeker hair-do here, even though I love big, open hair.
All these looks seems Deepika-ized. And has been seen so many times that it would fall flat on DP herself.
I agree – I actually think that something like this would have worked on someone as tall as Deepika because you get to see the full extent of the design.
Floor length, same lace fabric all around, with silver or gold or red strappy sandals this looks would’ve worked. Desi designers always have one too many elements.

This actually reminded me of a yellow lace dress Samantha wore for an awards function a few years ago – can’t remember exactly – but this is quite reminiscent of that look.

looks like lingerie modelling. But the dress suits her, may be a sleek hair do would have elevated the look along with different footwear.
Even Sobhita could not salvage this outfit and her expression says the same.
