Wearing a lace dress from Jonathan Simkhai with velvet Manolo Blahnik pumps, Samantha attended the Zee Cine Awards over the weekend. While I can’t fault the finishing touches, the very visible piping of the inner lining was a bit of a distraction. I think the dress would’ve server better and afternoon brunch, an evening soiree vs an awards function.

Awful outfit. A corset with a lacy wrap. Even the colors don’t blend.
Yes the sheer layer is giving away the ill fitted bust. A big letdown considering how well Sam is dressed most of the times
I think she is HHC’s favourite so not criticizing her outfit which is horrible. I could not go past her bustier and when i went i stopped at bikini bottom line. Camera/Lighting made it worse Call me whatever you want. I love her too and her face is glowing, color suits her but dress is horrible.
agree on the piping part. although these sheer dresses are causing fatigue at this point, still prefer when its styled with lining that gels with the wearer’s body. it looks more seamless and gives depth to the sheer fabric. the one she wore draw more attention to the inner garment versus the dress – which should have been the focal point.
I’m so glad it wasn’t just me – that bustier style underneath totally ruined it for me (piping was far too chunky for the delicate lace). Maybe this is a case of poor execution, but these look like two different dresses fused together.

I wish every girl has girlfriends to warn them about how awful innerwear can ruin the entire outfit. The bust is terrible, that’s all I can see!
