The first look is quite nice in fact. Quite relatable. Do t know what’s happening in the second look…has she tucked her pants into her sneakers? Weird!
People who have their own personal taste in bollywood:
– Shruti
– Mallaika
– Gauri Khan
– Shibani Dandekar
Usually, this whole list of people get a lot of hate, but honestly I would take these looks over overly-curated cookie-cutters. There are other – Maria Goretti, Mini Matur, Vidya Balan, etc who get more positive feedback.
I don’t know why this is downvoted, what you say is 100% true. And Shruti does have a rock chick look since she debuted.
It doesn’t matter whether it is to one’s personal taste or not. Trying to express one self through clothes is far more interesting than a stylist deciding how you should look. This is probably also why few brides stand out, they have to conform to the template.
Pirates of the Malacca!

Having a immature personal style you mean. Love the first black slip dress look, hate the shoes.
Ifyou own a crappy personal style, its rather worth disowning it.
Very genuine and likeable in that sense
I like how she owns it. I wouldn’t wear it, but I admire her for sticking to her personal aesthetic.

Didn’t know trying to look like an overgrown teenager was a personal style.
As long as personal style is not offensive , it’s fine!
