At two recent events, writer Shobhaa De sported two different saris. The sheer Chanderi sari paired with the Abu Sandeep blouse with its plunging neckline sure was a risk but she wore it well.
But, given my love for linens, liked her more in the blue and white one.

She’s 70! That is a remarkably well maintained woman. I don’t like that blouse but to be fair I wouldn’t have liked it on anyone.

I didn’t realize she is 70, would’ve never guessed…but then age is just a number. She looks so lovely and graceful even in that risquĂ© blouse!!!
Her face reminds me of her words and since I almost always hate her words, I cannot bring myself to like her face either.
So, I don’t give two hoots about what she wore or how she looked. Move on!

I’m reminded of Sonam’s “dinosaur” moniker – and I have to say, she is ONE FIT and SEXY dino. Totally killed it. Both looks.
I personally love the white and blue – its so cool and breezy and classy at the same time. The red- not my taste- BUT does she give the younger divas a run for their silicone surgeons.
“Eyeballs – over here, please. ” She is looking stunning!!
I can’t get over how fit she is! That is my new personal fitness goal. I have 35 yrs to work on it.
On a side note – can anyone ID the necklace on the white linen saree? Heart it to the moon.
