It’s been ages since we had a sighting of Ms. Mukherjee on these pages and boy, was she a sight for sore eyes. The actor celebrated Navami today in Mumbai in a pink kanjeevaram sari and pearl and gold jewellery.
It was great to see her!

In an interesting twist, both cousins landed major fashion mag covers… Where Kajol had Elle in her bag, Rani did Vogue. Not that we are complaining of course!
The tousled hair, strong lip, Dolce & Gabbana sheath… Rani looked great and the cover sure was a surprise; we dig. Now if only we saw some of this Rani outside of glossy pages too!

Making a public appearance after a long time was Rani who attended the Vogue Beauty Awards wearing a Sabyasachi long anarkali. As predictable as the designer pick may have been here, am glad she did so because most of the guests at this event opted for gowns by Gauri & Nainika. Also, picking a black look that was tailored to her height made a big difference especially considering we’ve been having Sabyasachi’s floral sightings in recent times and some of the outfits have looked overwhelming on a few.
The only thing I would’ve tweaked here is the hairdo. Would’ve loved to see her wear the hair up in a low middle parted bun. She looked great nevertheless.

It’s been a while since we had her on these pages but Rani broke the dry spell with not one but two sightings. First, she was spotted post shoot in pink Henry Holland separates. Wavy side-swept hair, fuchsia lip, violet aviators and chunky orange ankle-strap sandals finished out her look. And for her appearance at a store launch, Rani picked a white top and green printed pants. Wearing her hair up, she finished out the look with a pink lip, an interesting necklace, Valentino bag and green peep-toe pumps.
Both looks could’ve used some minor tweaks. The chunky platform sandals that wore with pink separates were a total downer. And for the appearance in pants, too much bronzer and the matching green heels were an issue. That said, it still bears asking… Of the two, which was your favorite look on Rani?
