Sanya was seen at an awards event in a sheer floral pattern sari from Aikeyah. With the sari being so sheer and the pallu worn seedha palla style paired with that bandeau top (which is its original pairing), the look felt very bare to me. Maybe I wouldn’t have felt that way if it was worn the Nivi way which would’ve downplayed the blouse.
Having said that, the sari itself is very pretty.

She looks so beautiful here! Love all of it- the hair, saree, blouse, such a dainty look!
Don’t mind it. The wispy hair adds to the fragility of the saree and the barely there bandeau. There are so many ways this could’ve looked cheap or gross — the styling actually elevates the look.
Why does someone beautiful and talented like Sanya always ends up with not-so-great fashion choices??
Her styling, outfits have more often than not let her down in most events. Not sure if there is a stylist behind this, or just chalking it upto personal choice
I love it head to toe as us, love the top but it needed a size bigger for Sania, the whole styling is superb.

I think it’s time that the sari gets its due!!! Half boob drapes, sheer sarees with bandeau top, weird pallu styles…Sari is a beautiful piece of clothing, it should be worn to celebrate its beauty!

Those tendrils askew across her face are really troubling me.
I think that’s an illusion – the Nivi style would have covered the same amount of the torso. With sheer sarees, if such a blouse is chosen, the intention must be to show it off
