At an awards events, Rani was seen in a black Sabyasachi sari, our 4th sighting of the label in recent days. At first glance, the makeup felt a off especially the lip color but it wasn’t quite a deal breaker for me. She looked nice. What did you think?

If its a 60s vibe they were going for, the sequin border ruins it, IMO. (In this context only).
I liked it, it has a 60’s vibe, slightly bouffant hair, nude lip like Mumtaz used to – without being a caricature

The saree n blouse is so good.. hate the powder toned makeup n dated hair look. Love Rani n I can imagine her wearing this her usual style with left open hair n kohl eyes, lookin smashing.
To me, this is perfection head to toe. So elegant. And just the right amount and type of jewellery.
And, why tie down a particular hair style (something as simple as a lil buff) to a decade? We should be free to try different hairstyles every now and then. I have my bob hair in a lil buff today. It’s raining here in Sydney and coming to the office with the whole hair down, I would have ended up with a lot of frizz.

The lipstick washes her out , I suppose they were trying a 60’s look but the lippie didn’t suit her . Saree is boring , why is Sabyasachi doing these run of the mill looks ?
