Rani was seen arriving back in Mumbai on Friday wearing a printed Dhruv Kapoor kaftan, which in itself was quite busy but what made it worse was pairing it with the stark white huge Valentino tote and rubber slipons. She was doing so good for a moment.

As jarring as this is…. I love the I don’t care attitude that Rani has, she does what she wants to, she can obviously have the best stylist and has access to all the commentary around her looks but she’s stuck to her style (?) and in such a conformist bw world that’s unique !
I don’t care attitude? Don’t think so considering all the visible brand logos on her . She does care and thinks she’s doing well .
Oh she definitely cares about her labels… but uncaring of the flak she gets for her dressing and continues doing it…
She was wearing a nice dress couple of days back at the airport…
I think she’s just so gorgeous that she can stop styling herself with these brands which don’t go together . She would look lovely in just basic comfortable stuff .
She always gets it right in sarees though
I think she’s already at the “don’t care” stage of life – she has a child now and her priorities have probably changed a lot, she had her stardom and now only chooses projects that appeal to her. She knows we love to see her in sarees and wears them on occasion to great success. The rest of the time her style quotient is big brands and comfort, usually pretty tacky. I am coming to enjoy these dorky sightings.
I love me some Valentino but that’s so ginormous and stark white . This look is ok for a beach vacay ( the cloud slippers , white raffia bag, kaftan) but when on the vacay !
