For her appearance on the Cannes red carpet, Priyanka picked a Roberto Cavalli Couture gown to wear. Wavy hair, Chopard jewelry and pair of Christian Louboutin pumps rounded out the actor’s look.
After going all out at the MET Gala, I can understand the need to do conventional ‘glam’. And while it wasn’t one of her more memorable outings, she did look nice. Also, anyone else think the earrings didn’t quite work with the gown?

While I applaud Priyanka for being much more conscious of the Cannes aesthetic, this doesn’t have that ‘it’ factor. It kind of gets lost in the crowd. She could have chosen something more distinct. This is very run of the mill. That said she looks good.
The gown is nothing spectacular and the styling follows suit. Earrings don’t go with the outfit. I like the makeup and that’s about it. Expected a bit more from PC.
Also this gown reminds me of YSL Black Opium perfume bottle.
This is so boring and basic. Absolutely forgettable.
They all look like they have been marinated in foundation! So gaudy!
Not sure why this site brightened her pictures so much, she looks brown and beautiful in the pics I’ve seen on other sites, paparazzi and on Priyanka’s own Instagram. Anyways she is gorgeous. I feel she purposely wanted to go for something more low key and classic here.
Haven’t altered pictures in any way except for cropping them to size.
I felt this was a wasted opportunity. This look fell flat. It doesn’t suit her at all. For some reason, it reminded me of her Aitraaz days & not in a good way. The gown, the hair, the earrings & the makeup are so meh. Rare miss from my favorite Priyanka
Any other person I’d say this is a good/passable look but she has done SO WELL over the past year at various red carpet events that I find it very underwhelming for her and it looks more “lack of effort” than effortless.
Oh boy…there is fire in that belly!
I think that along with what a celeb wears, it is the person’s attitude and confidence that counts a lot. And with every move she makes, every interview she gives, every cause she supports, she has me applauding her.

I never find off-shoulder flattering on PC. Makes her look too broad.
So true- something about the shoulders- she does look very broad in off-shoulders
Eye make up seems off again ! Yes the earrings don’t go with the outfit..gown is nothing to write abt. The midriff design seems odd from afar. I miss PC’s usually confident demeanour here.
The place where the fabric bunches at the bottom waist area gives it a very baby bump look, the combo of colours there makes the as if preggo bump even more pronounced. I am quite shocked that her stylist did not catch that
Perhaps I am wrong but the ombré on the waist and the thigh high slit is not working on her and makes her look stocky.
In the third picture her sticking out her leg with a namaste looks so weird:)
On a side note :
She is great ,sadly she has built up so much pressure on her and there are too many expectations from her (maybe it shows in these pictures cos she does not look very confident here

Is it just me or the red on the stomach area looks weird. The gown would have looked better in one solid color. And the earrings are a bit odd.
Priyanka is not a stylish woman. Period. In her case, it’s always the clothes wearing her and never the other way around.
She was fine earlier. It’s only after she changed her stylist to Mimi that the clothes have started wearing her. If you look at Mimi’s feed you’ll notice that Mimi has a similar aesthetic for both Hadid and Chopra. How can the same style look good on two completely different body types?
completely agreed that mimi is not good for her. Cristina Ehrlich really styled well priyanka. even some of her iconic looks are from cristina’s styling.
Nothing stands out about the gown at all. And the hair and makeup make her face look plumper than it is! The overall look just doesnt work for me!
Not a fan at all. The dress is boring and the fit on the torso looks off to me, especially the way it bunches above the thigh slit. She looks quite pale for her, too.
The dress is gorgeous but is a size too small on her. It makes her look bigger than she is and the fabric is bunched up instead of spread properly .

Passe gown, with dated styling ruins it for PC. Those earrings are terrible. Her midriff/abdomen looks quite odd in the 2nd set of pictures. Overall not feeling it at all.
Nothing exciting about this look. Very basic and forgettable.
Her looks are getting more LA downtown ghetto. The slit is tacky and her thong is visible in some pics.
Why PC why? I expected you to blow it out of the water. What is this dated cookie cutter Cannes outfit you are wearing. Any one of Kangana, Deepika, PC could have worn minimalist , chic modern silhouette but they choose over the top or dated or just something funky. Such wannabe styling esp for DP.
This gown looks cheap and dated. And I refuse to believe that those earrings are Chopard! This whole outing seems extremely last minute to me otherwise I don’t expect Priyanka Chopra to show up in anything less than a gown with a 20 ft train. She wouldn’t show up in something this unnoticeable.
I have a curious question here: does the arm fat bunch up wen you wear a bustier type of outfit?? It looks all fleshy usually what I have seen on stars.
Lol, people criticise for both elegant looks as well as that over the TOP attention seeking dresses! I was going through the comments for other actresses in Cannes. You have to play down , dress suitably in Cannes etc etc. How do you measure those what is rightly dressed!?? Now PC’sdress is intermediate, not too dramatic why is that being called passable, boring etc. Same for Deepika’s dress for serving high voltage glamour! I think these stars would have also thought the way they want to be dressed, personal preference and lots of other factors before being up on an international stage like Cannes!

If stylists just style based on what suits the wearer instead of styling them based on public reactions, expectations or to create a shock effect , it would be good. PC , Deepika and Kangana have such powerful personalities with beauty that they do not need anything OTT in terms of makeup or styling or dress.
It’s a lovely gown. She’s played it safe. The make up bothers me though.
TBH priyanka has a soft side for PNJ , :p if the gown was on some one else i bet she would have shredded her in to pieces alive ha ha ha ha

So damn dated – I don’t expect any Bollywood a listers to wear such dated clothes anymore given how try hard they all are and especially armed with a village that gets them ready. What’s with the fugly groin-high slit and even fuglier earrings ?
I really like her white outfit though she looks amaze can’t wait for that post.

Understated makeup is her friend. This is one of the best looks by Priyanka in recent outings. No gimmick, no forced opulence, no look at me I have arrived, just plain confident star that she was when she arrived in Hollywood. Good one!
Her eye makeup is rather bad. She looks bloated or puffy or both…look at her midsection. If that’s the gown’s fault, it is a poor pick.
She looks very square and yes those earrings are purely contractual..prolly added last minute. Ha.
Missed opportunity – very run of the mill. She will still be covered in fashion mags only due to who she is.
