In a soon to be aired episode of Koffee with Karan, we spotted a fresh-off-the-runway Nandita Mahtani dress on Sussanne. While we await better pictures, we can already tell you that it’s a dress we aren’t particularly fond of. And, the color isn’t doing much for Ms. Roshan either.

In French Connection

In her movie she romances an older man (Ajay) and we wonder if Shazahn was sort of “In Character” in this French Connection Spot dress. We only ask because while most try to go for a grownup look ( these days ), Shazahn looked quite the opposite thanks to the hairband.

At The Globes

Barely 14, Hailee held her own last night at the red carpet amongst veteran red carpet big wigs (a la Berry, Lopez and Jolie). You would think any kind of gown would age her but the white Prabal Gurung gown was a perfect pick and we loved the contrasting Amanda Pearl clutch. Instyle reported that she went through many dresses and had almost given up until she tried this last one on and fell in love. Who wouldn’t!

While Hailee gave us white, Hope gave us color in a teal Bibhu Mohapatra gown. The actress looked beautiful in the lace & chiffon number. One minor gripe was the constant pulling of the pleated section.

For her birthday do, it was a Roberto Cavalli floral dress for the birthday girl and, at a more recent event, spotted a Just Cavalli zebra stripe dress on her… Disregarding the lippie (not sure if the lipstick shade just photographs terribly or doesn’t work, period), have to say, the dresses work really well on the curvy designer.

While Vidya sported Sabyasachi saris at two different events (no surprises there), we also happened to have spotted one on Pinky Reddy in the latest issue of Hello! magazine. Though not the best bunch of pictures, we do think both ladies looked lovely in their saris.
