In Savio Jon

Day two of Fashion Week had Rhea put in an appearance in Savio Jon. Coil necklace, black clutch, Prada wedges and a top knot completed her look. We like.

Those flame wedges have long been on our lust-list and seeing ’em paired with grey, the green Pradas just shot up to top of that list.

LFW Winter/Festive 2012: Aarti Vijay Gupta

“I Love Ma Doodle Book” was Aarti Vijay Gupta’s collection and we’ve got to say we loved it too! Especially the color wheel & paint shade saris that provided the perfect contrast to the doodle print collared blouses. They just went on our lust list.

LFW Winter/Festive 2012: Roma Narsinghani

Will keep this succinct… Not feeling it. If you however feel differently, won’t you please make us see differently? On to the Comments then!

LFW Winter/Festive 2012: Komal Sood

Twilight Seduction was Komal Sood’s collection that presented sequin-heavy dresses and gowns with purple being the dominant color. Some of the designs felt like ones we’ve seen before. We’d be remiss if we didn’t point out the last gown (2nd pic, far right). It just didn’t belong.

LFW Winter/Festive 2012: Pernia Qureshi

Pernia’s show probably was the most anticipated show right after the Gen Next Show. The stylist turned designer presented a Western collection mostly with its only Indian piece coming in the form of a sari on showstopper Amy Jackson. Dropped waist shifts, knee-length beaded dresses and separates marked a collection reminiscent of the 20s.

Some of the looks felt very basic if you ignored the styling. Some pieces also had an Atsu influence (she is a muse to the designer after all). Having said that, we also think the simple collection is just what we need to see on the stars and we’re sure to see it soon, if not on Pernia herself first. After all, she is her best ambassador.
