With the feather detailing already on the dress, Mamta didn’t really need the floral headband. It felt like one accessory too much. Not that I like the dress.
On an aside, it is great to see her completely recovered from her cancer (Hodgkin’s Lymphoma).

Priya picked a long white anarkali/lehenga (a Manish Malhotra?) that was rich on gold embroidery and had a patchwork trim. While, I am not a fan of the design, she did look good in white.

It was a blue Shilpa Reddy sari for Lakshmi at the South Filmfare awards that took place in Hyderabad on Sat night. Not a fan of the color, but Lakshmi sure wore hers well. Only wish she had styled her hair better. Do not like the way the bangs fall on her and definitely not digging the red highlight.
Update: It wasn’t a Payal Singhal.

A while back, velvet was pretty much synonymous with the Bachchans and last night at the premiere of Bbuddah in Hyderabad, Mr. Bachchan jolted us right back to it.
Do we now also spot an Oriental phase?
P.S. We think Mr. Bachchan may be wearing in Shanghai Tang at both events.

I was just about to pull my hair out upon hearing DP was on a cover again. But, when I saw the Elle cover, the eyes popped out and the jaw dropped at the sight of the smokin’ Ms. Padukone in the Gucci top and the Peacock pants.
