Ranbir and Alia seemed to have accidently (or possibly on purpose) coordinated with the hosts of their Diwali party (Saif and Kareena) with Ranbir in black and white and Alia wearing a red Manish Malhotra lehenga. Between the border and color, I was quite reminded of this Sabyasachi lehenga which was a whole lot more finished out than the one Alia wore. The outfit as a while felt bare. I also don’t get why such an established designer like Mr. Malhotra, every now and then, churn out designs that feel so very Sabya.

This one is for all the 90s children! Sonam (Khan) is back in Mumbai and was spotted attending two events wearing Sabyasachi. Have a favorite? I prefered the black but the boots did make for an odd choice.

Rekha and Gauri wore Manish Malhotra saris to his Diwali party with the former wearing a kanjivaram and the latter a net sari. Between that red border on Rekha’s kanjivaram and the floral one on Gauri, both saris felt so very Sabya-inspired.
