Natasha opted for a mint green sequin sari by Manish Malhotra to wear to the Ambani Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. In addition to the fact that her sequin sari also felt completely out of place at the gathering in question, that emerald satlada necklace while delish just overpowered the entire look, and not in a good way either.
Skip that necklace, wear the same combo to a cocktail party and I’d be singing a completely different tune here.

Why do rich celebrities feel the need to wear their most expensive outfit and jewelries when they attend any Ambani function. To me this outfit screams ostentatious display of wealth and not any devotion. A simple saree draped on her might look beautiful. But we might never know.

Am so confused! I really don’t know what a Ganesh Chaturthi celebration@ Ambani’s really means? The saree is super blingy and one I would normally find tacky.
But Yet I like this look! Natasha seems to be almost giving a lesson on how to take a classic blingy and tacky Manish Malhotra saree and make it look sophisticated and glam. Even Manish himself would be probably going, ‘Is it really my saree? when others wear it, it looks totally different!’
Haha! Let’s just say it’s an opportunity to stash (black) money by the richest family.

This season’s MM outfits are terrible than ever before. Its like same outfits in different color. This is sooo Kriti Sanon’s saree at the same event but in different color.
Satlada looks good only when you are wearing it to either your own wedding or any other family member’s wedding. Not otherwise.
She looks Striking no doubt and she is covered up so its fine by me.
There is nothing wrong in showing off your jewels and fine clothes and a social outing is a good time to flaunt them.

Why put down someone just cause they have money ? Let her enjoy what she has and wear it and flaunt it.
There is no unnecessary exposure or disrespect in the outfit for the occasion.

I think she looks nice and event appropriate. The emerald niagra falls is a beautiful piece. I am tired of the overloaded Sabyasachi chokers anyway so this really looks very striking. Yes she is rich and honestly that is her problem 😉 not mine. All this showing money concept is still relative right ? In America even if one wears normal middle class level of ornaments, it might seem too much to the average American. But I wish her eyebrows had the fluidity of her necklace. They kinda look stuck on to me. Funny, money can’t but you good eyebrows 😉
