LFW Winter/Festive 2010: Satya Paul

There were dresses, gowns, saris, lehengas, separates… Quite the extensive collection from Satya Paul. But that doesn’t mean they were all good.

Less said about the western-wear, the better. I hope to never see that rosette gown on a red carpet. Ever. The saris were pretty and wearable. We can’t help but wish the collection was better edited though, there is such a thing as one too many.

  2. Like the saris, hate the blouses. I think the far right sari is the prettiest, but not that breathtakingly unusual.

As for the western wear, I have no words, just a sigh.

  3. I shudder when I think that the same person who designed these sarees designed the western wear as well. (Ok, being dramatic) How awful is the first row – horrible structure and designs.

  4. Satya paul should stick to what they do best – the sarees. Their western wear is nothing to get excited about whereas the sarees are stunning, it is after all what made his name. Those silks are gorgeous, but judging by the prices on the website probabley not much less than 50,000rs. Better start saving now!!
