Two Diwali soirées had Kriti picking a Manish Malhotra feather-trimmed sari for one and an Anushree Reddy lehenga for another.
While she wears the sari well, the look isn’t one I find myself gravitating to personally. Of the two, it was easy for me to pick the lehenga as the favorite. Which look do you like more?

So now, seeing all the diwali party pics, it is evident that with saree, you need one less piece of cloth to wear…no blouse required!
The Anushree Reddy lehenga is beautiful but I don’t get the blouse design with it – I can imagine someone with a monotoned blouse with those cuts

but why would you not wear a full blouse when the embroidery is so beautiful?
Agree on the blouse part. The embroidery does not get to shine through on these super micro cholis.
The craftsmanship on this lehenga is really beautiful.
Plus Deepika’s choli is so well designed and cut that there is no comparison with this one.
The lehenga is pretty but I am fed up with these itty bitty bra’s trying to masquerade as blouses.
I like her in both looks actually. The Anushree Reddy, though not novel, stands out because of the color and soft styling.
The feathered saree does not look that garish on her. Must be the minimal styling.
Love the soft pink lehenga….one of the better ones seen this Diwali. She carries it well too.
If you ignore the feather-trimmed bottom, it’s actually a decent saree. I didn’t notice it some of the close-up videos. The saree hugged her frame really well and the colour looked fantastic on her. The lehenga is a safer look but she looks resplendent. She was one of the better dressed ones in terms of how she was styled and how elegantly she carried them – somehow doesn’t look ridiculous or garish.
She does pull off most looks, so I am not surprised that she looks good in both outfits.
But that saree by itself is pretty tacky.
Beautiful saree, but in a hurry she forgot to wear the blouse. Driver brought it from home and said – madam, mai blouse leke aaya. So she’s leaving to go get fully dressed. Deepavali can be a stressful time for celebs. #NotATrueStory

Her lehenga looks similar to Katrina Kaif’s saree in her prewedding photo shoot.
