i don’t have anything with acrtesses going casual but those don’t look like “grown up” clothes. a simple shirt with fitted jeans would have been better imo

why is katrina always using the headband? she appears to be wanting to look young, but it doesnt seem to be a successful attempt.. she looks too matured!! and yes horried too!!
This is not the first time she’s worn this type of tee. She wore a smurf tee shirt on Salman’s Dus ka Dum with neil (if i’m not wrong). And i’ve see her wear amickey t-shirt too i think.
Personally i think it’s cool! She looks great and i think she’s trying to project the character for her upcoming movie – ‘jenny’ from Ajab Prem Ki…

Yes, she does this often and I’m 90% sure I know where this is coming from, simply from her interviews and my reading of a person but that would be bordering on the irrelevant on a Fashion blog.
Anyhow, in a nutshell; she is enjoying her recent essaying of young and more 3D characters, with more age appropriatte narratives and casting. She is touring with the same people for the film and she is enjoying the feel of it.
As we have witnessed already Katrina doesn’t have much know-how or interest in Fashion from what i can gather and thus, does whatever she feels like doing. Her natural sartorial taste isn’t exactly ‘fine’ so the result is this.. ta-daah!
LOL – she is desperately trying to look younger and it is not working at all.
Reminds me of those sad cases of where Mom dresses like her daughter to look young and hip.

Hey …. she has worn this tee before … in Dus Ka Dum episode with Neil … when they were promoting the movie “New York”. Seems like …. this is her lucky tee 😀 … but she looked much better the last time.

I would have commented on the Tee(which is kinda cute but not for a celebrity, no matter what she’s promoting) and the Capris (terrible) if i could get past the plastic hoop earrings. Those are just downright tacky!! And just to be clear, 12 year olds these days wouldn’t be caught dead in something like this…they are wayyy too fashion-conscious for that!

giggle giggle…..i’ve been ranting about KK’s juvenile dressing in all her recent outings. So this post gets a 3 cheers from me to bring this serious ‘fashion crime’ to light…. isnt she supposed to be British? if she has even spent couple of years in Britain or US, she would know better than to wear this. It is puzzling.

she’s not british. she grew up in hawaii and only spent a couple of years in london before moving to mumbai. i think she’s just trying to pretend she’s really young.
So agree with you Priyanka…that jeans, tee, hairband, hoops and the chain in her neck all are horrid individually and put together! she is 25 years old and that is seriously a 12 year old’s get up!

it’s not the t-shirt that looks bad. the t-shirt is fine and anyone could wear it and pull it off.
It’s the headband and bangs combo with the plastic earrings that makes her look like she’s trying to be a tween.
maybe she bought those jeans and then she lost weight but she still wanted to get some use out of them. We don’t want to let our fat jeans go to waste hahaha

Her accesories seem to be stolen from her DIY barbie sets. Denims are horrid. What really puts me off is those shoes without socks. For heaven’s sake, those shoes are not supposed to be worn w/o SOCKS !!!

even if i forget the horrid capris, what really takes this into a WTHey category is those cheap plastic hoops, headband, and that chain.
oh! and that roadside wristband thingie she has on. i think its one of those cheap plastic strips that you slap on your wrists and they curl around like a band …. god! haven’t seen those in more than a decade.

given the right styling/clever dressing this girl can look fabulous (bland but fabulous in terms of overall style) whether it be casual or dressy, however left to her own devices she always chooses outfits that emphasise her pear shape and rather hippy proportions. Some gals just arent cut for the baggy jeans look you need quite a an athletic straight up and down petite figure to pull it off…on Ms Kaif it just makes her look like an overgrown kid which I suspect was not the look she was going for…
I personally love katrina in whatever she wears.
