Out And About

It was a simple, fuss-free suit for Kareena as she stepped out in Mumbai recently. With her hair pulled back in to a ponytail, she rounded out her look with a bindi, understated jewelry and pair of metallic sandals. Nothing to fault here, she looked lovely.

  1. This might be just me.. But of late, even though i am interested in fashion, i couldn’t care less for Bollywood celebs. P&P, perhaps you can diversify and cover personalities from sports, business or celebs from other parts of South Asia – anyone with an interesting fashion sense.

    • agree , there is no ‘freshness’ to any of this or last 100 pages . Bollywood ‘stylists’ have perfected 4, 5 formula looks and keep rotating those . There is no excitement anywhere!!

Please cover people over and above these B- TOWN celebrities , else its a sighting website and honestly after instagram exposure we dont really need to come here.

    • It’s not just you, going by the comments on this blog I think there is a Bollywood fatigue of sorts. Not to mention, this doesn’t really cover ALL Bollywood folks or other Indian non-Hindi film stars or personalities with a certain style sensibility. This blog pretty much covers only KJo aunty’s coterie. We only see Kareena, Malaika, Alia, Neha, Karisma…as if only these ladies are working or out and about during the pandemic.

    • Literally felt the same thing! I am losing interest in Bollywood celeb looks. Sara In her weird tilted head poses wearing clothes that don’t go with her personality , Katrina in her tweensie mini dresses, neha Dhupia in her tents, Couldn’t care less!
Instagram has so much more talent to follow if you are really looking for fashion inspo.

    • Arre don’t you know ??? In India Fashion = Bollywood !!
High Heel Confidential also panders to that market as do all the fashion magazines….Else there is no need to have Bollywood or kids of Bollywood appear on the cover of Vogue. Does anyone know why Suhana Khan was featured on the cover of Vogue Magazine ?

    • Agree. There are a lot of people in the Indian public sphere with great style; politicians young and old, artists, activists. It would be really nice to see real, individual style versus these stylist manufactured, product placement driven mass produced looks that pass for style.

  2. Agree with all comments above. In fact a friend was showing me Nandita Das’s insta few days back and I was wondering why no blog ever covers folks like her. Also probably .5per cent people in India dress like these bolly celebs so can’t even relate to this.
