Where seemingly the majority of the guests were in Manish Malhotra, Kangana stood out in her Sabyasachi sari. With flowers in her hair, she rounded out the look with oversized studs (earrings) and pair of matching jootis. She looked lovely.
Of course, we have had not one but two other sightings of this sari already. One, Kangana herself wore it for a magazine shoot. (Did she like it so much that she decided to keep/score one for herself?) Two, Sridevi wore this sari to a recent film festival, albeit with a different blouse.
You won’t hear us complain, we love seeing an item of clothing worn different ways!

This saree is beyond gorgeous and sridevi got the styling spot on . Her blouse allows for a choker and it looks perfect. Kangana forced It on and that plus the embellished neckline makes it look cramped
It’s not an embellished neckline. It’s two different necklaces she’s wearing.
I’m not liking how kanagana has tied this saree and carrying herself. She looks a bit messy.
Agreed. Sridevi looks so gorgeous with the styling right. The blouse neckline & the choker looks stuffy on Kangana. Sridevi in a Sari, none can beat that. <3 Even if they are 2 decades younger and it is a photoshoot.;-)
samantha also wore the same saree at her wedding so it is four sightings.it is indeed a very beautiful and elegant piece.
The sari is lovely however the look got too flat because of the makeup. The sari called for a strong kohl lined eye or a brighter lip.
I agree the drape is off. It looks funny, beautiful sorry but the grace is missing.
I fail to understand why stylists (or who ever drapes the saree) can never seem to do the pleats right. Nonetheless, she looks charming at the reception.

I prefer Kangana which has a old world charm; plus I favor the long sleeve blouse too.
She looked the best out of all celebrities at this event, only other person who looked equally good was Priyanka Chopra, this is the first time I actually was blown away by her looks, the gorgeous saree, her blouse, beautiful necklace, her hair….everything just perfect. Can’t wait for your comments on Priyanka’s looks.
Unfortunately, the saree does not seem to pleat well 🙁
Kangana is looking gorgeous, and her styling really stands out with the embellished blouse and flower! The two pictures in the second row are so lovely, nice to see her smile.

Kangana wins this ….. although sridevi wears it well too ….. the full sleeves just look great on Ms Ranaut . Love the pairing of jooties and the way she carries it
So very modern, stylish, season appropriate and yet so very Kangana ! I miss her short hair though.
The long sleeved blouse was a brilliant stroke of styling, it made the look modern and helps to cut through all that gold. kangana is definitely the best dressed guests in this reception (together with Madhuri dixit)

Kangana looks very rajmata-like and that blouse looks like a tshirt. Sridevi on the other hand nails it.
She looks beautiful, but the draping is off and she looks overwhelmed. Was charmed by Sridevi in her appearance, for Kangana its a bit of a miss.
