Seeing Kajol in an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla (instead of the more predictable Manish Malhotra) did come as a surprise. What however wasn’t a surprise was the silhouette/style of the actual outfit itself. And while I don’t think the pearls quite worked with the outfit here, Kajol did look nice.
Despite never having seen her wear something identical to this outfit (from what I recall), the intricately embroidered and embellished outfit unfortunately lacked the impact it should’ve had, maybe because of the outfits she has favored in the past.

Yes, AJSK’s tailoring/ cut/ stitching always makes the wearer look huge especially at the waist and hips (that an area we dont want more!). It does that to Aishwarya every time she sports AJSK vs when she (drowns in her MMs)!
Sabyasachi’s, MM and others tailor much much better. ABSK is all about the intricate hand work, beading and sequinning but they completely lose the plot with their awful tailoring especially with salwar suits and (lehengas occasionally).

length of outfit is off.. I mean with such a stiff outfit why the flowing train? pearls dont match at all..
