For her appearance at a recent awards event, Gauahar picked a Samant Chauhan dress to wear. With her hair pulled back in to a knot, she rounded out the look with earrings from Dolsun Jewels and pair of black peep-toe pumps. She looked good!

I apologize in advance if this note bums anyone.
I felt like going on a rant for this one the moment I saw it. There are so many styling mistakes in this one, I just couldn’t stop myself.
First of all, it’s a beautiful beautiful outfit…
but absolutely badly styled.
Smokey eyes or glowy glam could have done wonders. The makeup here is washing her out considering the patterned embroidery of the dress. Also, when the outfit has bronze tones in it, mauve coloured lipstick should be avoided. Simply coz the colour family is neither similar, nor opposite.
There always needs to a continuity balance for the completion of a look, the makeup doesn’t check that box.
Nor do those earrings. When your hair has curtain sides strands covering your face, earrings longer than the loft of hair make the face look elongated. Coz the earrings are taking attention away from her jawline.
And lastly, the footwear is not really adding much to the look. The dress ends right where her shin begins. So the footwear either could have been pointy toe or less sandal-y. The chunky black closed sides of the shoe here are swallowing the height.

I think her make up is fine. I don’t see Smokey eyes working here. Earrings definitely don’t work for me here.
Shoes are fine. But a different shoes def would have been better.
This outfit looks like it is from the local darzi’s closet…that too a forgotten order from the 80s 🙂

The dress is sitting perfectly on her frame. She looks gorgeous!
I would have changed up the earrings and the shoes. But this still looks great.
