Dia picked a Kresha Bajaj lehenga for her appearance this past weekend. Letting her embellished potli pick up on the green of her earrings from Golecha Jewels, the actor rounded out her look by keeping all else minimal. She looked lovely.

I am sorry, but how is Ms. Chopra’s black lace saree ill-suited for the festive time but Ms. Mirza’s similar material lehenga, lovely? Styling points aside, I can’t see what’s working here, for it is Diwali. Personal opinion completely, just the contradiction stumped me.
I think what’s working in Dia’s favor is her inherent simplicity… she looks sweet, not sexy or glamorous! Unlike Pari, who looks a million bucks but not occasion appropriate… it’s sure is matter of personal opinion 🙂

That blouse with noodle straps has to be replaced with a regular sleeveless choli. She looks lovely otherwise.
On Dia, the noodle strap blouse is not looking vulgar due to her demeanor. Those ‘chest out poses’ by younger lots makes the whole outfit look tacky.
