Wearing a custom Louis Vuitton gown paired with a statement Cartier necklace, Deepika attended the 2023 Oscar Awards in Los Angeles. I have to admit it was a huge relief to see her wear a classic gown instead of the cray-cray futuristic designs we’ve been seeing on the LV runway. The gown did her justice. She looked drop dead gorgeous!

She looks tired. Outfit lacks any novelty whatsoever.
in the close up she does look tired. could be the lights or the makeup.
The gown though looks good , is same old same old.Nothing outstanding.
Also the frizzy hair at the back of the hairdo is way more backcombed than needed, making it look almost unkempt.
Hairstyle could have beem more classic or layered and more importanatly neater.
They kept in well within the ballpark. This was one occssion to hit it out!
I recall reading somewhere that after getting over Corona, she noticed a difference in her appearance, and I believe this to be the case.

She looked stunning on stage. Loved the dress on her. This is the first LV that she has worn that I really liked because it was both classic and modern at the same time. I did feel like the makeup was making her look a bit tired in the photographs but she looked amazing on video at the Oscars so that’s what matters!
Beautiful necklace but absolutely no novelty on the gown. The messy hairstyle makes her look tired. Probably the long flight too. Something feels amiss in her looks in general these days.

TBH, my first thought on seeing her was that why has she worn a Gauri Nainika to the Oscars? I mean really 10 years back she wore a fishtail G&N gown that at least to me looks pretty similar to this. However, considering how over the top her Cannes appearances have been, I am actually relieved that she stuck to the formula. She looks fine…no screw up at least 🙂
Something is wrong with the proportions of those sleeves as they throw the whole look off kilter. The look itself is fairly banal and been done to death on the red carpet.
The pics are not doing her justice. She looked regal and glamorous in the videos. In the pics she looks tired but in the video he looks so not tired and beautiful
