Ram and Upasana attended the Academy Awards with the former wearing a sherwani by Shantanu and Nikhil and the latter, a sari by Jayanti Reddy paired with a Bina Goenka neckpiece. I wish Upasana had skipped on that necklace and picked a layered ruby necklace to go with the sari. Minus the necklace, she looked lovely.

Both look great! Yes, she could have worn ruby strands…would have stood out against the ivory saree.

The Black and White looks complement each other really well. I agree about the necklace but she still looked good despite it.
Ram looks so good in the Indian wear, dapper and ethnic. Upasana looks elegant, the leaf like jewellery was too large to fall in place with the entire look. Love her second look too.

Loved the neck piece, but not the saree as much. The ivory silk is very mother of the bride, something with a bit more color wouldve been nice, but she in general looks very well put together and glowing.

I am so glad it’s a saree and not lehenga and with OTT embroidery and bling. I actually love the necklace. It’s a statement piece and the saree offsets the piece very beautifully.
