The India International Jewellery Week got off to a start with big names walking the runway. Katrina Kaif walked for Nakshatra diamonds in a lehenga by Neeta Lulla and Deepika Padukone for Farah Khan Ali in Seema & Jamila Malhotra.

Between the two, there was a clear winner for me and it was Deepika who looked absolutely ravishing in the beige Seema & Jamila Malhotra sari. The outfit was beautiful without being overwhelming and it did not take any attention away from Farah’s design. That was so the case for Katrina, though. Between the lace lehenga and the gloves, I can’t even pay attention to the diamond necklace that SHOULD be the center of attention.

P.S: The models in Farah’s show were dressed in Ana Singh but, Farah and Deepika were in Seema & Jamila Malhotra outfits. Their looks were styled by Ana though.

Sabya’s two favorite ladies attended his show at Kolkata wearing Sabyasachi saris. (Thanks heavens Rani didn’t do a repeat jumpsuit!). We think they all (Sabya included) look great, but oh my, loving Vidya’s look so much more! She looks amazing!

P.S. Notice how Rani’s sari border matches Sabya’s kurta which matches Vidya’s blouse?!! Quite in sync, isn’t this trio!

It’s been a while since I have liked let alone loved a Manish Malhotra creation. I think that streak was broken today. Yes, it’s the same ole, same ole from the designer but I guess because it’s a toned down look, am loving this white suit on Aishwarya. Such a vast cry from the horrendous velvet one that she wore at the movie’s music launch in Kuala Lumpur.

P.S. Robot is the hindi title of Endhiran.

Kangana on Grazia India: (Un)Covered

It’s been exactly a year since Ms. Ranaut featured on Grazia India and while it was a fierce look in a Dolce & Gabbana dress last year, this time around it’s a more subdued mood in Namrata Joshipura pants and top. I, for one, especially like that instead of going for a runway look, the stylist paired the bubble-sleeve top with the slouchy pants.
